Dr. Ashley Babcock

is currently the Founding Dean of Continuing and Professional Education at CWPro, a division of The College of Westchester. Currently, Ashley and The College of Westchester are participating in an incremental credentialing initiative with Credential As You Go. Previously Ashley held several leadership roles at Northcentral University, an online graduate and doctoral granting institution, where she most recently was the Associate Dean of Faculty for the School of Education. Ashley has over fifteen years of experience in higher education with a strong focus in student support, specifically in learning centers. Ashley was the first president and one of the founders of the Maryland Learning Center Association, an affiliate of the National Learning Center Association. She has done extensive research in the areas of student engagement, student support, online doctoral education, diversity, assessment, and most recently learning and managing student stress during COVID-19. Ashley has also been a faculty member, teaching English, qualitative research, higher education leadership, and serving as a dissertation chair for doctoral students. Ashley earned her B.A. in English and creative writing from Widener University. Her M.A. in English Literature from Rutgers University-Camden, and her EdD in Higher Education Leadership from Argosy University. She resides in northern Virginia with her husband, two kids, and dog.
